01: Messages for trainers.
There's been a significant increase in the number of reports of stolen pokemon recently. It isn't worth starting a panic over but I'd recommend that trainers, especially younger or less experienced ones, take care. Avoid travelling unlit routes at night if you're able.
On a different note, the next idiot to attempt to cut the hedge maze loses the right to challenge me for the badge. And, if I have any say in it, thier pokemon licence. Wild pokemon use it as a home, you're putting thier young at risk from both the cutting attack itself and from bird pokemon while they're exposed. If you can't read well enough to understand a sign that says 'Please do not cut' you really shouldn't be travelling with pokemon anyway.
...though I suppose if the culprits really are illiterate then this message serves no real purpose.
